Tamara Choksey, Intern
Tamara Choksey is a senior at The University of Georgia, set to graduate in May with degrees in English and French. At UGA, she has studied abroad at Oxford University, is a member of the Delta Gamma sorority, and volunteers with the Athens/Clarke-County Mentor Program. Originally from Alpharetta, Georgia, Tamara caught the entrepreneurial bug from her parents and turned an overgrown hobby into a business when she was eighteen, launching a small cupcake catering venture called Cupcakes by Tamara. With that real-world experience tempered by a business internship at global IT consulting firm ADR Inc., Tamara can’t wait to get started in the PR world interning with Scholz Communications. In her spare time, Tamara is an insatiable bookworm, going through a book per night, loves to watch the fashion shows she wishes she could have attended, and more than anything enjoys traveling around the world.
